These are the days…
I started my journey in photography when I began taking pictures of sunsets in the Pacific Northwest. I was passionate about capturing different states of the sky, clouds and ocean. After purchasing a Canon I spent as much time as I could learning about this craft. I started taking photography classes, experimenting with various editing techniques and following photographers online.
When I became a grandparent, I found myself behind the lens even more. I was drawn to real life, candid, natural light photography. Now, whenever I am around my five grandchildren, I can’t put my camera down. My favorite pastime is capturing them when they’re unaware, documenting their simple, imperfect, and beautiful little pieces of everyday life. These are the days and moments that make us wish life would slow down. For me, the stories they tell are priceless.
My husband and I live in Birch Bay, WA and frequently travel to Seattle and San Diego, CA to visit our two children and their families.
