These are the days…
My love for photography really began as far back as I can remember. Growing up I was always taking pictures, making albums, and saving ads from magazines with beautiful photography. Years later after my children were grown and the photo albums were stacking up, I welcomed the digital age. It allowed me to get organized, be creative, and follow a passion. I’m pretty sure I became addicted to this craft.
Now that I am a grandparent, I find myself behind the lens even more. I am drawn to real life, candid photography. Whenever I am around my six grandchildren, I can’t put my camera down. My favorite pastime is capturing their personalities and documenting their imperfect and beautiful little pieces of everyday life. I love capturing their hugs, their hair in the wind, their little hands and feet, and all the unexpected moments especially when they’re playing and running on the beach. These are the days and moments that make us wish life would slow down. For us, the stories they tell are priceless. It gives me so much joy to be documenting their growing up years and creating these keepsakes for my family.
